Perhaps with the new Confluence DB, is there a way to have a Confluence cell update a field in Jira?

No there are no options to update Jira issue information base on information in a Confluence DB.
What about using the new DB feature or maybe an extract from Confluence and uploading the data back to Jira, is that a reasonable option?
No this will not update Jira issues,
Jira issues can only be updated in Jira or use a CVS or JSON import on the Jira side.
Confluence is representing Jira information, but can't update Jira issues.
Of course the extract/upload file would be in CVS. Thank you
