Manage Sprints Permissions - Child Boards

I created two child boards from a preexisting board. I want to start managing the sprints differently for each of these boards. Create separate sprints, start times, end times, etc. I can manage the sprints within the Main Parent Board I created the child boards from, but when I try to create sprints within the two child boards I get an error. 

I already have the admin 'Manage Sprint' Permission .

What do I do?

Boards select issues based on Filters. What are the filters used by each child board?

If the filters don't explicitly specify the projects from which issues should be included, then Jira interprets that to mean it is possible that any issue from any project in Jira might match the criteria. In that case you would have to have the Manage Sprints permission in absolutely every project in Jira.

If you share with us the filter for each board, we can provide more specific guidance about how they might be corrected, if the problem is that the filters are not specific about the projects.
