Moving "Your Work" into a Kanban board, so I can track progress?

Trying to move my "Your Work" into a Kanban board, so I can track progress? I can't get the To Do, In Progress, and Done to appear in the board.

Your Work helps you to navigate to your issues faster. If you cannot actually see your board, first you need to be added to the project and have the Browse projects permission.

Second a filter for the board needs to be checked if it has been shared with the project or is it a private filter.
