In Product Discovery, can you set a null value for a field with a rating?

Hi! I'm trying out Jira Product Discovery and moving my product backlog from a spreadsheet. For some values like "Effort" or "Priority" I would like to set the value to "unknown" because I don't have a value yet, and I would like to find items that need values. Is this possible?

Hi @Emily Johnson -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Do you mean fields like the built-in Effort, with the scoring of one-to-five dots?

I believe you may leave the field empty for the import to do that.  For ideas already imported, you may select the current scoring (e.g., 2 dots) to clear it to empty.

To search for them later with JQL, you may use:

project=yourProjectName AND Effort IS EMPTY
