Custom text fields in cards?

Question

Is it possible to add custom text fields to cards in board view? For example, I am able to customise cards to show/hide due date, issue type, assignee, etc. but I cannot find an option for a custom text field. I am aware that I can add a description into the Task itself however it does show in the board view.

What type of project are you using: company-managed or team-managed?

You may find that information at the bottom-left of the page expanding area or in the list of all projects.

At this time, only company-managed projects may change the card fields on the board to include things like custom fields.

Hi @Anuja Ariyaratne Welcome to the Atlassian Community

You can find a card layout tab in the board configuration menu. The two pulldown menus on that page hold all custom fields available to your project.
