Any way to remove "Spark a conversation" overlay?

This "Spark a conversation" has been an annoying addition lately. It covers a half of the screen space. Is there any way to hide it?

This question is getting asked more and more lately, as such UX experiments are tried without an apparent impact assessment or way for customers to "opt out".  (sigh)

Here are two things to try:

• One person at a time...disable all Jira Lab features in your personal settings
  • At the top-right of the page, select your avatar image
  • Select personal settings
  • Scroll down, and disable any labs features you do not want to see
  • Please note: not all of them are listed by name / behavior, so try turning them all off.  When you do, you may be prompted to offer feedback, so share your thoughts with the UX team.
• For the entire Jira site...contact the Atlassian Support team and ask them to disable the feature / experiment
  • You appear to be on a paid license, and so your Jira Site Admin can submit a support ticket here: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/
