I am the Jira Admin of the instance and I have both the Manage Sprints and the Schedule Issues Permission Yet I cannot add issues from the Backlog into the Sprint 2.
What could be the problem?

Could you please check on the below points
- Please check the board filter and see if the board filter is for one project or has many projects and also if ranking is enabled in the project. Here if the board has more than one project then you need to have Manage Sprint, browse and Schedule issue permission
- Kindly also check if you have edit permission to the project.
- Please also lets us know the exact error you are seeing? If possible could you please share the screenshot for the same
In general below permissions are required
Browse ProjectsManage sprints Edit IssuesSchedule Issues
