I am trying to share a dashboard with another user. They can see the dashboard, but they cannot see the contents of my gadgets, so I assume they don't have viewing access for the corresponding filters. Here is what they see on the dashboard (i see lists of issues):Here is an example of the permissions in one of the corresponding filters:And here you can see the user is part of the correct group:Other users in the jira-procurement group are able to see the contents of the dashboard gadgets fine
In the end this was just a glitch on Jira's side. The gadgets/filters loaded fine the next day without any changes on my end and have been working since
Hi @Christy Kennedy
Does the user have browse permission to the Project of the resulting issues from the filter?
Or is there a Project specifically mentioned (like Project = ABC) that the user does not have browse permission for?
HTH,KGM
Hi @Christy Kennedy, the first thing that comes to mind is if the user has "browse projects" permission for the project(s) in scope for the filter.
I hope it helps.
Cheers,
Melo
Hi Melo - yes, they do have the "browse projects" permission (as confirmed by Permission Helper)
Hi Kristján - yes, they do have the "browse projects" permission for all projects referenced int he filer (as confirmed by Permission Helper)
