How can I create Epic Report/Chart to show epic start time, in progress. and end time

want to create an epic report/chart showing 

• Epic start time
• End time
• Issues added while the epic was in progress

As an admin, I want to see the performance how the epic is planned, and how it has been taken up
The available Epic Report of Jira just showed me 

• Total Issues
• Completed Issues
• Unestimated Issues and this does not fulfill the purpose I require

What do you suggest?
Is there any way to customize Epic report? or pls suggest another way to display the information I want to see.

No you can't amend the built-in Epic report.

Also you questions are in my opinion BI related as you also mention historical option.

You could use the API to get all your data or use 3rd party marketplace app to help get information out of Jira to a BI tool or an app that offers BI options in Jira
