Story point

Question

Hi friends,

May i know how to set the story point for the issue in agile board.

Hi Karthik,

By default, Story Points is only availble to Story and Epic issue types. If you're having other issue types and wonder why you cannot see the Estimate field, then you may consider changing the available context/s for Story Points, which is in fact a custom field provided by JIRA Agile. To do so:

* navigate to Administration -> Issues -> Custom Fields
* locate Story Points field
* click on the rightmost button then click Configure
* click Edit Configuration then adjust the Issue Types from the Multi-Select list (to Any issue type, maybe)

Story points can be entered from the planning view's issue detail panel, or issue summary entry in the backlog.
