Hi @Sai Manisri Balmuri ,

As far as I know, it's not possible to achieve this with any native JIRA gadgets. I would recommend opening your filter in advanced mode, adding the columns you need (like Story Points), exporting it to Excel, and summing it up there.

Otherwise, you would need a paid solution.

Best regards,
Alexey

Welcome to the community, @Sai Manisri Balmuri.

I am Marlene, product manager of Quick Filters for Jira Dashboards.

As @Sebastian Krzewiński mentioned, this is not possible with the Jira standard gadgets, but with our "Quick Gadgets".  You can sum-up story points and any other Jira number field with Quick Filters for Jira Dashboards.

If you want to try our app without installation, you can check out our demo dashboards.

Hi @Sai Manisri Balmuri -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

As @Sebastian Krzewiński noted, that is not possible with the Issue Statistic gadget as it needs defined values and the Story Points field is a number (not a defined list of values).

I hypothesize you are trying to create a histogram by sizing, perhaps like this:

Issue Counts by Story Point Sizing

none: ***********
   1: ***
   2: ******
   3: ****
   5: ***
   8: **
  13: *

In that case, some workarounds are:

* to investigate marketplace apps / gadgets to do this with a dashboard,
* add a custom select option field for your story point values (i.e., duplicating the information), and use an automation rule to set the field when an issue's story points change, finally use the Issue Statistic gadget on that custom select option field
* for a small number of issues (e.g. less than 100) you could build an automation rule to create the histogram to send this by message / email.

Kind regards,
Bill
