Jira text format links to open in a new window

Question

Can someone please tell me if it's possible to have links open in new window? We are running JIRA 6.5-OD-01-120 (OnDeman) and are trying to setup Service Desk on which we need to have some instructions for our customers. The instructions will have links but we cannot figure out how to open them in a popup window.

Example of the code

{panel:title=   (i) Important Information|borderStyle=dashed|borderColor=#ccc|titleBGColor=#F5F5F5|bgColor=#FFFFCE} Before submitting a support request, please read carefully our Urgent Support guidelines. \ [{color:blue} *Click here to read now!*{color}|http://www.google.com] {panel}

Thanks in advance.

Hi Malik,

Unfortunately that won't be possible with Cloud (OnDemand) solution. HTML and JavaScript are not allowed on JSD neither on issue fields on JIRA. Sorry about that!

Cheers!
