Add Requester Email Address to a JQL

I want to know if I can add the requesters email address to my JQL query. 

We have a Request Email field that I assume I can use. So can this field data be used in a JQL query? 

If so, does someone have a sample of what the JQL query would like?

If the Request Email field is a text field then you can use the following JQL:

 

"Request Email" ~ "email@example.com"
