Jira calendar options

Eman Khan

hello!

I'm trying to find an atlassian product that's in calendar view for jira where it displays fix versions, release items, workflows, release dates etc. I don't need it to display individual tasks.  I thought i'd reach out to the community to see if you all have any recommendations.

Thanks!

Hi @Eman Khan

There's no out-of-the-box solution in Jira that perfectly matches your requirements

To display fix versions, release items, workflows, and release dates in a calendar view in

Jira, without individual tasks, consider the following options. Jira Software Cloud's built-in Roadmaps feature offers a timeline view of releases and versions, focusing on higher-level items and allowing visualization of release schedules and dependencies.

Alternatively, third-party apps like Release Management & Roadmaps and EazyBI provide dedicated calendar views for releases, supporting fix versions and release dates. These apps enable exportable ICS formats for integration with other calendar tools and customizable reports.

Additionally, the free Jira Calendar Plugin, available from Atlassian, offers a customizable dashboard gadget for a calendar view, displaying fix versions and release dates. All these options focus on release-level items, excluding individual tasks.

Hope this helps - Happy to help further!!
Thank you very much and have a great one!
Warm regards
