Yes you can, @[deleted]. But automations have nothing to do with advanced roadmaps (or plans).
Jira has a built-in automation engine that is perfectly capable of automating actions within a single Jira project or across multiple projects. Cross-project automations can only be configured by a Jira administrator, though.
