create a formula field in a Jira project list

Question:
I would like to create a formula field in a Jira project list. Could you explain the method?
Note: I prefer not to use ScriptRunner for Jira and would like to achieve this in the simplest way possible.

Details:

• Based on the values of custom labels in Jira, I would like to perform addition and display a corresponding string.
• For example: if the "Priority" field is "High," it gets 3 points; if it's "Low," it gets 1 point. Similarly, if the "Urgency" field is "High," it gets 3 points, and if it's "Low," it gets 1 point.
• I want to display "○" if the sum of the "Priority" and "Urgency" values in the "Task Priority" field is 5 or more, and display "×" if the sum is 5 or less.

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Jira doesn't support calculated fields natively. You can create a regular custom field and then use Automation Rules to do the calculation and fill in the custom field.

To create a calculated field that you can directly configure with a calculation you would need to use some third party app.
