Help Wanted: Kanplan Workflow with two entry points - Backlog & TODO

We desire to use a Kanplan workflow.
We have planned and unplanned work.

• Planned work to be created in the Jira backlog and scheduled accordingly.
• Unplanned work to be created in the TO DO column

Is it possible to create another "Start" item in this workflow so that when a user clicks "Create new issue" in either the Kanban board or the backlog screen and choose Backlog or TO DO respectively ?

I have worked it out. I was close.

In the workflow, I had add a rule to validate a field.
If I removed it then things worked as desired.

What i learnt is that you need to show a screen, then validate a field for it to work.

Now our users can create issues in either the backlog or the todo column.
