Do you want to use Gmail smtp server?
I'll use whatever it takes to work lol
In what way do you want to integrate GMail? What do you want the JIRA <=> GMail integration to do?
I want to see my emails in JIRA. And if possible turn them into tasks.
JIRA is not an email client, it's an issue tracker. But it can process incoming email (as well as send out the notifications when things happen inside it).
