Sum estimates of sub tasks not getting added to Story estimate

Is there any workaround or resolution on this please? Last sprint, users had to stop creating sub tasks and had to work only with tasks for estimates sake.

HEy,

as you can see in the issue you mentioned there is no real workaround if you're using JIRA in the cloud. You can only add your vote to the issue I'm afraid.
