Structure: Show sub-task's parent custom field value in formula

Hi, I would like to show a parent custom field value (Quarters) as a formula column on my flat list of sub-tasks. I do not want to include the parent issues themselves on my structure. I can access parent summary, status, etc. using parent.summary, parent.status, etc., but custom field values are not available in that format. parent.Quarters does not work. Any ideas? Thanks.

It is not possible at the moment - the Formula column only has access to a handful attributes when requesting through the parent. function.

To display the field's value of a parent for its Sub-tasks, you would need to:
- either add the parent issues to the structure and reference the field using the aggregate parent{} function;
- or write the Quarters field values in a custom field in Sub-tasks, and just show this custom field as a column in the structure. You can do it using Structure's Copy to Jira functionality:
1. Add parent issues to the structure.
2. Show their Quarters values for sub-tasks using the Formula: parent{quarters}
3. Write the values to Sub-tasks using Copy to Jira.
4. Remove the parent issues from the structure.
5. Add the used custom field in Sub-tasks as a column to the structure.
