I am working with permission schemes - Jira Cloud.
I have setup two computers and two separate users within my Jira cloud project. One machine is for admin and the other is for general user.
I went to Issues > Permission Schemes > etc.... I have removed permissions for comments for everybody. I expected my test to prevent adding, editing, deleting any comment for any issue on my Jira project. This was not the case. My general user could add, edit and delete any comment.
I've set the scheme, then restarted the browser.
- Perhaps this is not how permissions are supposed to work?
- How can I determine that my project is using the default permission scheme (I only have this one).
- How can I set the permission easily to prevent certain actions - i.e. comments.
