How to write a JQL query to know the status of current running sprint?

I want to know the status of all the tasks in the current sprint and I would like to know how to write the JQL? Also, in this case am I supposed to have created and end date?

write jql "Sprint = XYX [type sprint name and then select preloaded sprint name], once the query run, add status column
