Unfortunately, the macro “Create from template” cannot be used on a page. There seems to be a bug here... every time the macro is selected from the suggestion list, nothing happens. The problem could be worked around when using the "Firefox" browser. The macro could be selected and configured with the "Firefox" browser. After using Firefox to insert and configure, the macro still works in Edge too. Workaround: The macro could be selected and used in the "Firefox" browser. The problem only occurs in the "Edge" browser (here: version 126.0.2592.113 (Official Build) (64-bit). Is the bug known with the "Edge" browser?

Unfortunately, the macro “Create from template” cannot be used on a page.

There seems to be a bug here... every time the macro is selected from the suggestion list, nothing happens.

I've tried this on the exact build edge version without any problem. The template button was working without a problem.

good tip!

I actually have (only) one extension, namely 'DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials'.

After I deactivated the extension, the macro works again in Edge.
