Are dashboards the same as reports?

Question

Hi there!

To give a little bit more context here, I was wondering if reports are the same as dashboards with the exception that you can put multiple reports in the dashboards.

If not, could you please help me understand better the difference between these two options?

Thanks!

Hi @Juan Pablo Cabrera

Dashboards can be used as reposts, depends on the granularity you want to achieve.

Marketplace apps can also enhance your dashboard capabilities.

Keep in mind that jira and the markeplace apps are not BI tools.

If you use case is going to combining information from different levels, look into marketplace apps that are abel to extract data to a BI tool and create your report there.

Dashboards are a place to gather gadgets together.  Reports are more involved, they are on a higher level than gadgets.

Some gadgets have a lot of detail and can be as useful as a Report.
