Block/Prevent log time if account field empty

Hello Community,

I'm looking for a way to prevent users from logging time on Tempo Timesheets if the "Account" field is empty. We use Jira Cloud, and I have JMWE (Jira Misc Workflow Extensions) available if it's needed for a solution !

I tried an Event based action, with a conditional JQL filter and ocnditonal execution when someone create a log work (which i'm not sure but others have not work also ...)

Has anyone implemented something similar, or can anyone guide me on how to achieve this?

Hi @Joseph HANI !

Within Tempo you can add an "Account" Work Attribute as shown in the image below.

This will put the Account field on the Log Time form and require it to be populated before the worklog can be submitted.

It looks like you got the answer you needed, which is great.

If others happen upon this, and have it set up where Account is a field on the issue itself (as opposed to the worklog), then you can make the field a required field in Field Configurations in the project.
