Hello
I have a java application.
Is there a way I can know if there is a event in Jira (Ex: Version added, Project created etc) notified to my application.
Thanks
Abe
Hello @AbrahamA
With an Automation Rule you can use a Send Web Request action to call an external API in response to an event in Jira.

Hi Abe,
Yes, you can use Jira webhooks to notify your Java application about events like version additions or project creations. Set up a webhook in Jira to send POST requests to your application, and create an endpoint in your Java app to handle these requests. Check Jira's webhook documentation for detailed steps.
