How to move subtasks and checklist that have not started in a JIRA cloud story to another story

I have a stories that have either subtasks or checklist that have not started and I would like to move them to a new story. Should be simple..., we are using JIRA Cloud.

So on my board I have a story that has subtasks, some of the tasks are done and others have NOT started yet. I would like to move all the NOT started subtasks to a new Story.

My thought was to create the NEW Story first than move the NOT started subtasks to the new Story but I am not finding anything on youtube that has the same look and feel of JIRA CLOUD.

Please provide the correct steps for JIRA CLOUD interface.

What problem are you trying to solve by doing this, and how often does this need happen?  That is, "why do this?"  Knowing that might reveal other solution approaches the community can suggest.

When your team created the Story, with any Subtasks or Checklists, they probably thought those were in the scope of work to complete the Story.  And the team probably sized / forecasted effort and planned based on that understanding.

Moving the Subtasks and Checklists to another Story may have unintended consequences, such as making forecasting less accurate, or confusing stakeholders who are trying to understand progress.  And if this movement of Subtasks and Checklists happens often, that may indicate other problems with backlog refinement and planning.  Perhaps discuss with the team why this symptom happens to decide alternatives to try.

@Duc Thang TRAN's answer looks like the easiest way to move subtasks, but you also mention checklists in your question.

Checklist is not a native Jira feature, so you must use some checklist app. Please let us know which app is used - the right way to move them may depend greatly on this.

This is correct

To do this quickly, you can find all the subtasks using this JQL query :

issuetype in subTaskIssueTypes() and statusCategory = "To Do" and issueLink = {{oldstorykey}}

then do a bulk edit -> move -> set the parent key to the new key.
