How do I make the tickets generate the same name when set to a preset value in a hidden field?

Sorry for the convoluted question as I'm still fairly new to Jira. I am currently trying to create a custom Summary. I have set a preset value to hide this field so that when the ticket is created only, we can see the title on the back end. I want that title to pull the name of the person submitting the ticket. How do I make the Summary pull the reporters name into the field.

Is your Jira instance a Jira Service Management project? If I understand correctly, you have a form on the portal with a hiden field called "Summary Custom" (single-line text field) that has a preset value
You want to include the reporter's name along with the preset value in this field.

In this case, I suggest you use automation to achieve this:
Trigger: Issue created
If: Request type = (your request form name)
Then: Edit "Summary Custom" = {{issue.reporter.displayName}} - {{issue.Summary Custom}}
