It appears that the Description details have disappeared from the existing stories in the story board. Can someone please suggest why it is happening and how to get the description back.

Take a look at the history of one of the issues and see what it says about who/when the field was updated.
How do you view history?
@Sean Somerville - Go down the Activities section. Click on Comments if that is the only thing showing and you should get a dropdown to select History.
Thanks. I was able to see - and I can prove my problem exists. I clicked an action item from the description. The checkbox, and it deleted my entire description, and the other two checkboxes/action items as well
