Hi, I'm trying to make an external REST API call. I need to get the OAUTH 2.0 token to be able to call the endpoint. Is there anyone who faced the same issue?
I have found a solution:
Hi @DEW
Unfortunately, I don't believe you'll be able to use OAuth2 to identify yourself against a third party rest API, because OAuth2 is designed to be used within a browser, with user interaction, and JMWE scripts run within the JMWE server infrastructure.
However, most rest APIs offer a way to establish server to server communication, using a different authentication mechanism.
Hi, thank you for the response. Unfortunately, the API provider does not have any other authentication mechanism.
