Jira Automation Rule - Trigger another field based off of a custom date / time field

Looking for advice on how to trigger or set the value of another field based off of the following criteria below...(triggering another field is the easy part, how to do it based off of the below criteria is what I'm struggling with).

 

For context..

We have a Custom "Date and Time" Field (used for scheduling the execution of a specific activity to take place at this date and time)

Trigger Criteria: Change the value of another field, for example, change it from false to true, if the scheduled date and time is > 5 hours away / 5 hours in the future, when this Automation rule triggers, which will be at the same time daily.

Hi @Garry Broughton Jr. -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

If you can write a JQL query based on your date / time field and criteria to identify the issues to update, a rule could use that JQL in a scheduled trigger.

For example:

project = yourProject AND yourDateTimeField > 5h

In this case, the "5h" is relative to the current date / time.
