Grant Org Admin from Site Admin

Hello,

How can I add myself as Org Admin? Currently I am Site Admin and User Access Admin. The Org Admin is no longer in the organization, so he cannot access his account.

I understand that your current Organization (ORG) admin is no longer with the company, and you need to replace them. Since you are currently the site admin, you have the following options:

Option 1: Reset Password and Add a New Administrator

1. Reset Password:

• Use your internal IT team to reset the current ORG admin's email password.
• Log in using the reset credentials as the ORG admin.
  
  2. Add a New Administrator:

• Navigate to Atlassian Admin Console.
• Go to Settings > Administrators.
• Select Add new Administrator and add your email address.
• This will grant you ORG admin rights.
  
  

Option 2: Contact Atlassian Support

If resetting the email password is not possible, please reach out to Atlassian Support for assistance:

• Visit the Atlassian Support Contact Page.
• Provide them with the necessary details to help resolve the issue.

These steps should help you replace the current ORG admin and ensure continued administrative access.
