Not able to complete sprint

Question

I am not able to complete the sprint. All the tickets in the sprint are in Done Status. Still, when I try to complete the sprint it says, issues are open. There are no linked issues and nothing like any blocker.

This sprint contains:

* 0 completed issues
* 2 open issues

It doesn't sound like the following is your problem, but Jira will not let you complete a sprint if any work items are in a status mapped to the far-right column that have sub-tasks under them which are not.

Basically, open sub-tasks on a closed work item will prevent the sprint from being completed.

The "Done" status on the issue alone is not sufficient to mark the issues as completed on a sprint board. To be considered 'completed', the issues must be in the rightmost column of the sprint board. Here are more details:

The column labelled "Done" needs to be the rightmost column on the sprint board. Only the issues in this column are considered as 'completed' when closing a sprint.

If the "Done" column is not the rightmost column, issues marked as "Done" will still be considered incomplete.
