How to add a text description about a project visible to all members?

I want to add some free-form text description for a project, for example if project is created for one company (one of our Clients), I would like to add some notes about the company and the contact information. Is there a way to do so in Jira? Thank you!

Yes of course! One of the solutions would be to create custom fields.
