Unable to use the apps after installation, is this because I have a free plan?

I have a free plan of confluence but as an admin, after installing the app I can see it is installed but have no access to the app itself. What should be done?

Hi @Mark and welcome to the community.

There might be several reasons.

* the app relies on a feature that is not available on Confluence Free - permissions, anonymous space access, etc.
* the app must be enabled thru Systems Settings and/or permissions
* the app's point of interaction is hiding in plain sight - macro, the three dots menu option, entry in the Apps menu on the top bar, under the page tree, above the page three, under the page title....
* Combination of the above :)

I'd look into the apps docs if everything else fails. It did happen to me on many apps, it was there I just could not find the way to use the app without the manual.
