can we filter users by email or username through rest api ?

This is the API you can use https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/api-group-user-search/#api-rest-api-3-user-search-get

You can query the user's email and in the response contains the Account ID.

I have tried the API calls to get users for v2 and v3 API and it seems that filtering by username or email is not available in APIs endpoints.

Also the official documentation seems to be out of date. Based on this link, it seems like only accountId is available for request.
