Is it possible to move a ticket to the top of the backlog from within the ticket view?

When I am creating a new ticket or viewing a ticket, I would like to be able to move it to the top of the Project's backlog. Is this possible? Currently I have to finish creating the ticket, then move to the backlog and move it to the top from there.

I agree with @David Quinn This is a frustrating lack of functionality that _seems_ as if it would be easy to implement by amending the properties of a ticket to include references to board(s).

@Mikael Sandberg Could you please describe the shortest path to accomplishing what OP wants (in terms of actions within the hosted web UI)?

@Mikael Sandberg this feature was available in JIRA data centre. Having just moved to JIRA cloud I was disappointed to see it gone.

The ticket is related to a project and a project has a backlog, it seems like a simple relationship and as I mentioned was an option with Jira data centre
