Closed Issues showing on New Sprint

Hi,

In the our project, there are several issues that are resolved as well as all sub-tasks resolved as well. This was marked as done on 16th April 2024.

It seems that when a new sprint was started on Monday - 6th May 2024 - multiple of these done/closed issues were added to the new open sprint and I am unable to see why possibly.

There seems to be no configuration changes that I can see.

This seems to be the only sprint where this has happened. I have checked the Board configuration and "Done" is in the far-right column as well.

Not too sure why they would be showing up or is that somehow the norm within JIRA now?

What does the history tab show on these issues. Is there an entry where the sprint field was updated to include new sprint?

That seems to be the case - the update on the 6th May, when the new sprint was started, it shows that there was an update.

Would that still be updated even with the issue being in a done status as well as all sub-tasks? So all done issues and sub-tasks all done can get moved to a new sprint when it is started?

What does the entry show? Did a user add the sprint? Where does the old done issue show on the new sprint? Right-most column?

The old done issue shows on the right-most column on the new sprint.
