Create Sub-task under Epic

Hi Team,

Is their a way to Create Sub-task under Epic using Script Runner in Jira.

Please confirm over this if this is possible using Script Runner.

Sub-tasks can't be direct children of Epics, assuming you have standard hierarchy. Sub-tasks are children of tasks/stories/bugs, which are children of Epics.

@Katie Nix is right. Jira has 'holy trinity/hierarchy' of three issue types.

      Epic
         v
Task/Bug/Story
         v
Sub-task

One more thing to ask. This case scenario is not possible with anything, right. Not with Script Runner also, right?
