JIRA - Add Time Alert when ticket is moved to certain column

Hi All, Hope you are doing well.

I am wondering if this would be possible at all.

Basically when my teams tickets are Moved from IN PROGRESS > CODE REVIEW I what to an alert to be sent out to the assignee that they need to log in time to the ticket.

Is this possible or if there is something similar I can trigger maybe send them an alert every 48 hours ?

(We agreed in our retro that we need some sort of alert as people forget to log time).

Welcome to our Community.

Based on my experience, the best pratice may be to provide a workflow transition screen (with worklog entry) to let the developers log their time spent on those tickets.

Of course, you could choose to use jira automation to notifiy dev, but I don't suggest multiple times of notifications.
