Page Properties Report stopped working

Today our Page Properties Report macro stopped working on several pages (over 30 reports pages) and our internal IT group cannot find any reason why. Is anyone else seeing this issue?

The labels and all of the mapping is the same. Nothing changed at all in any of the page history or analytics.

@Alana A_ I am not seeing any issues reported on the Confluence status page. https://confluence.status.atlassian.com/ I am also not having any issues on our instance.

Are all page properties reports not functioning or are some still working?
Can you share a screenshot of what you see?
When you edit the page and edit the macro what does it show in the preview?
Have you installed any new apps?
Have you submitted a support issue with Atlassian?

I can not open edit mode for the properties report on the conf page. I have exist report, but I can not change it. There is nothing on clicking the button

There is an actual problem, if you look at the developer tools when pressing the button it keeps generating an error

@Maria Polyakova I have noticed that if you shut down all browsers, make sure they are not still running in the background and then start it back up again it sometimes comes back

I'm having the same issue. I can't edit any Page Property Reports in our space. Which also means I can't add new ones since I can't edit which labels it should be pulling in.

Posting this for the next poor soul who encounters this problem and hasn't the two hours it's taken me to solve it

The edit will fail if the page properties report is pulling through any content which has anything other that plain text in it. I've proved it will error if text contains highlighting or links, but I suspect the same will apply to other things too.

I solved it by removing the labels from the pages which I suspected might cause an issue (pretty colouring or links) until the edit button works. I then removed the styling / links from those children pages and hey presto, I can edit again!
