Update JIRA On Demand issues via URL

We've had success using URLs to create issues in our JIRA On Demand instance from within our web-based development environment. Is it possible to do something similar to update an existing issue? For example, can we generate a URL that would add a comment to an existing issue or can change its status? Thanks!

I am not really sure if this is possible. But you can follow this page (https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA051/Creating+Issues+via+direct+HTML+links) that describe how to Create and test if passing the parameters will work with the UpdateIssue instead.
