How to default to original size images on copy

Lately, don't know when it changed, when I paste images on confluence I get tiny unusable images.

See inside rectangle in my screenshot.

 

 I can change this to original size but I'd like a reasonable usable size by default.

Can I fix this myself of is this something Atlassian needs to fix ?

If you read through the comments, you will see that you are not the only one who is not happy with this.
