cleaning up done tasks from the backlog

The tasks that are put as Done in my backlog used to not be displayed anymore which was good.

Now all my done tasks are displayed in the sprint backlog and it's annoying because there are a lot.

Is there a way that these tasks could be cleaned after I put them as done ?

Are you working with a Team Managed project or a Company Managed project.

For the issues that are "done" and showing up in your backlog, is the Status value assigned to those issues mapped to the column that is farthest to the right on your board?

I am working with a Team Managed project, and yes the "done"issues are showing up as the farthest on the right on my board and as well in my workflow, but they are still showed in my backlog as you can see. Any idea on how to solve that ? Captura de pantalla 2024-04-24 100118.png

The issues that are completed within a sprint will continue to display on the backlog screen in that sprint's display area so that you can see there all the issues involved in the sprint and their current status.

You could add a Custom Filter to hide those issues from view.

The JQL you would use is

statusCategory != Done and (sprint is empty or sprint in openSprints())
