Issues are not visible in jira board but in filter we are able to view

I am trying to create a new issue on my new board. It is created but it is not visible. A message appears every time I create an issue and shows me the following: For issue to be visible, it must match your project and filters, and have a status that’s assigned to the board.

only for one issue type is not appearing , if we are mapping to sprint then its appearing under that sprint.

and we dont want sprint field as Mandatory

Hi @SUVARNA Dixit , indeed the message accurately states the likely reasons. With that said, I need more info to pinpoint the cause but will offer the following possible things to check:

* go into board settings and check the general settings page. Inspect the filter for the board to see if there is a clue. Feel free to share the filter here along with some details of the issue created, e.g. Issuetype
* is it possible that the issue is in the backlog? Can you verify?
* can you check the status mapping under board settings > columns?
