I am trying to write a Confluence automation that does a bunch of stuff, but one of the very simple things I also want it to do is Edit an issue in Jira.
How does the automation know which issue to edit? There is nowhere in the automation rule at all where it asks you what issue to edit?
Am I crazy?
See the rule below:
- Trigger = a manual trigger from a Confluence page (so there is no context for any Jira Issues)
- Next step = simply edit a jira Issue
- The dialog on the right offers you nowhere to tell it what Issue to edit. It says "Set values for fields on the issue". But I haven't told it what issue to actually edit.
