Hi,

I'll ask even if I think I know the answer.

Is it possible to activate viewer filters in a Dashboard? (so that the viewer could filter for assignee, reporter, and created date while viewing a dashboard)

I know I can set up the background filters for the dashboards to display the desired information, but most of our dashboard users do not have the knowledge of how to set up and change the filters for a dashboard.

It would be nice if it worked similarly to the issue view.

I also tried to find a functionality suggestion for this, but can't really find it, do you know if there is one that I can vote for?

In Jira Cloud by default it is not possible to do that on dashboards. Maybe there is an add-on that can do that but I'm not aware about something like that.
