Trello and Jira Integration

We are needing to know if there is a way to integrate Jira and Trello and not have to activate a Power Up on each individual Trello card. Is it possible to just integrate the two accounts and sync all the information? 

Also, if we have issues in Jira, and we get a report and are going to transfer these issues to Trello each week, will Jira detect duplicates? Or is it possible that the same issues will be added as cards, week after week?

Thus far I am unaware of any built-in feature that allows for seamless integration between Jira and Trello without having to activate Power-Ups on individual Trello cards. Power-Ups are essentially add-ons that enhance the functionality of Trello boards, and they're typically required to enable integrations with external tools like Jira.

However, there might be third-party tools or custom scripts that can facilitate a more comprehensive integration between Jira and Trello, allowing for syncing of information without the need for activating Power-Ups on each card. You may want to explore integrations provided by Zapier or other automation platforms, as they often offer more flexibility in connecting various apps and services.

Regarding duplicate detection when transferring issues from Jira to Trello, this would typically depend on the method you use for transferring the issues. If you're manually transferring issues each week, it's possible that duplicates could be created if there isn't a mechanism in place to check for existing cards with similar information.

However, if you're using a script or automation tool to transfer the issues, you can implement logic to check for duplicates based on specific criteria such as issue titles, descriptions, or unique identifiers. This would help prevent the creation of duplicate cards in Trello.
