Can I track the trend a singular field?

I have a field responds with the output from the input from two other fields.  Can I track the trend of it being changed in a report.  

For example:

I have three fields

- Likelihood

- Impact

- Rating (populates automatically as a result of Likelihood and Impact)

As the project progresses the Likelihood and Impact will change and therefore the Rating will change.

Is there a way to track the trend of the Rating?

Hi Jane,

You would need to create custom fields to store the values each time the Rating changed. Rating 1, Rating 2, Rating 3, etc. I would put a limit on it so that that it only trends the last x number of changes. You might also consider putting in an approval process whenever the Rating needs to change so that a user doesn't update it every hour or every day. 

There might also be some apps in the Marketplace that will help simplify this.
