Shortcuts activating when typing comments

Only in Google Chrome so far, we've had a few users experience Jira shortcuts appearing when typing comments/editing tickets. We've tried removing any plugins and browser extensions but seems its still an issue.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or has a possible solution to try, it's definitely only Chrome, it all works fine in Edge.

I can't replicate this on my machine. I always work in Chrome.

And if it just related to chrome it's most likely in Chrome, are you on the latest version?

I don't see this as an issue relating to Atlassian.

Yes Chrome is updated automatically when new versions are released... if you cannot replicate i'm a bit lost as to what can be causing it.

I'll maybe try a fresh install on Chrome and see what happens.

This has also happened to me and it's frustrating. Aside from using other browsers, have you found any solutions @Jack Adams ? Or does the issue somehow eventually disappear?

I just encountered the issue today and need to open Jira on another browser to comments. Have used Chrome and Firefox, but the issue still remains.

I want to deactivate any type of shortcut but not sure how as I can't find the answer (yet) from Jira Help or Documentations.

This is happening to me as well. Keys typed in the comments of issues are being considered as commands. H goes to help. Unable to add comments

No solution found... we tried different browsers, reinstalling, clearing site data, nothing seemed to work so the users just decided to put up with the issue.

Had this issue in Chrome (space bar jumps down page, h key opens help).

Took the latest update to Chrome which did not resolve the issue (Version 124.0.6367.208 (Official Build) (64-bit))

Switched to Edge, issue does not exist (Version 124.0.2478.97 (Official build) (64-bit))

Hi Guys,
I experienced the same on my system but turns out it was not a Jira issue but indeed it was a space issue. My system space was full and when I cleared it, the issue disappeared.
